St. Francis Council was founded in 1962 through the efforts
of the men of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. It is named after St. Francis
of Assisi, who was patron Saint of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. The St.
Francis Council works closely with St. Francis
of Assisi parish in Oakville MO., providing funds
for various projects and charitable organizations.
